BEFORE YOU BOOK

We offer several different tour packages available for purchase. Prices are based on tour duration, destination, and cruise availability.

Our tiki boat has a maximum of 6 passengers. This does not include the captain. This maximum capacity is a US Coast Guard restriction. Only USCG inspected “for hire” vessels can hold more than 6 passengers.

Yes, our tiki boat has a 2023 Vessel Safety Check certificate from the United States Coast Guard. Our vessel has all the necessary safety and precautionary equipment as prescribed by Federal and State laws.

Walk-on cruises are two hours long. Private booked cruises are dedicated trips where patrons can swim at the sandbar or visit local restaurants. If there is not a scheduled trip after your trip, you can talk to your captain about extending your trip for an additional fee.

Our two-hour cruises follow a nonstop route and do not permit time for swimming. Our 4 or 6 hour cruises do allow time for swimming. Patrons will be allowed to swim from our tiki boats only when the captain has anchored the vessel, turned the engine off, and has given the “okay” that you can get in the water. Permission to leave the vessel at any point during your cruise is at the complete discretion of the captain, and is based on but not limited to: tidal patterns, weather, boat traffic, water clarity, and time remaining in the tour. Patrons are not covered by boat insurance when they are off the vessel.

Up to 6 passengers regardless of age. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied with a parent/guardian or adult. Anyone under the age of 21 will be allowed to come aboard, but will not be allowed to drink alcoholic beverages while aboard our vessels, in our parking lots, or during any part of the cruise. Children age 12 or younger will be required to wear a USCG approved life jacket for the duration of the tour per VA state law.

TOUR DETAILS

Yes! It’s Tiki Time!!!! We want to provide you with the perfect tiki cruise that enables you to relax and enjoy your time with friends and family. We encourage all of our patrons to relax, the way they want to, and enjoy any alcoholic beverages, responsibly. If your captain suspects that anyone on your trip has compromised safety as a result of intoxication, the trip will be canceled with no refund.

Yes! You may bring your own snacks, drinks, and alcoholic drinks. There is plenty of bar space aboard our boat for whatever you may bring. On board, there is a large cooler stocked with ice. You are more than welcome to use our cooler to hold whatever beverages or cold food that you have.

All of our trips will be operated by a United States Coast Guard Licensed captain. Our Captains have undergone a rigorous testing process to get this license, and they work hard to ensure that your safety is always top priority, giving you total peace of mind.

No. Our tiki boat is equipped with a Exo Gear Bluetooth speaker for guests to use during their cruise.

VB Tiki Time will cruise rain or shine and our tiki roof will do a good job to keep you protected. However, in the event we need to cancel before your trip or if your captain cancels your trip due to weather, a full refund will be issued.

DURING THE TOUR

Yes! We designed our tiki boat with customer well-being in mind. There is nothing worse than being on a booze cruise that you cannot leave and needing to use the bathroom. To ensure the bathroom is consistently operational, we ask “if it’s brown, wait for town!”

All forms of smoking and vaping are prohibited.

NO! Regardless of whether or not you have a prescription, THC in any form is not permitted on any vessel per United States Coast Guard law. We have ZERO flexibility on this matter as our captains could face suspensions of their license if you board the vessel with drugs. If our captains determine you have brought drugs on board, your trip will be suspended and you will be dropped at the nearest dock. Leave it at home!

Unfortunately, we do not allow fishing from our tiki boat. However, our sister company is Wingman Guide Service, who runs an in-shore charter fishing operation out of the same marina. Ask for more details!

YES! Our captains work very hard before, during and after your tour. Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and making sure everyone has a great time are just some of the tasks they must do to guarantee that everything is perfect for your trip. A 20% tip paid directly to your captain is standard.
